What are Nebulae?
Nebulae are star nurseries where stars begin their lives. They stay nebulae until enough pressure has forced all the dust and gas together to make a star. As stars gets older, they become red giants. The smaller ones then become white dwarfs, while the bigger stars explode as supernovae and finally become black holes. Did you know that some stars we see in the sky have already burned out? Nebula are just gorgeous. Here is a slideshow of some really beautiful nebulae.
